Donnie Munro, the former voice of one of Scotland’s most successful bands – Runrig.
Donnie Munro and Runrig became one of Scotland's most popular acts. During the height of their success Runrig albums would outsell all other artists in Scotland – yes they were, in Scotland, bigger than anyone else. 1991 also saw the band perform to an audience of around 50,000 on the banks of Loch Lomond at Balloch Castle.
“The Best Of” is a collection of wonderful recordings celebrating Donnie Munro's solo career.
The CD contains some of Donnie’s, personal favourites – all re-mastered – plus some new live versions of his own successful songs and some classic Runrig tracks. The album also features, the single, “Down Under” and the new single “Flower of Scotland” which Donnie recently sang before 50,000 fans at the “televised” Scotland v. Italy football match"
