Moran Magal is an Israeli singer/songwriter/pianist who first rose to prominence in her home country when she spectacularly captivated all 4 jurors in Israel’s version of The Voice with her rearranged version of Alice Cooper’s “Poison” (footage here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fK4rAm6hbY8). In the following years, she broadened her musical spectrum further and collaborated with many well-known musicians such as Kobi Farhi (Orphaned Land), the late Warrel Dane (Nevermore, Sancturay) or, as on “Under Your Bed”s 2nd single “Black Swan”, Tarot singer Tommi Salmela. The sometimes gloomily symphonic, sometimes goth-rock-y music on “Under Your Bed” deals with modern-day problems ranging from Childhood Trauma (“Under Your Bed”) to shallow capitalism (“Take Your Money”).
